Senior Web Developer

I am currently working as a freelance web programmer on various projects. Recently I have been working with MongoDB and Node.js; two technologies in their infancy, but technologies that I think will be mainstream in the years to come.

• I have been programming for a start company www.getboostfire.com. It is a PHP/MongoDB project. BoostFire is an ad network for iPhone and Android apps. I developed the ad serving on the backend and using Titanium Studios helped integrate the BoostFire API that I wrote. I helped complete several mobile apps for both iPhone and Android. I have also been helping with the backend development of their mobile apps.
• Helping www.windstream-inc.com with an iPad friendly website to monitor three Turbomills that they recently installed on the U.S. Embassy in Helsinki, Finland.
• Just built from scratch using Cakephp and MySQL a content management system for www.dnronline.com. I built the server on an EC2 Amazon Web Services Instance. It is using a LAMP stack with Zend Server. The backend was written using CSS3 and HTML5. The website was launched on August 3rd, 2011.

Senior Web Developer

Primary responsible was to develop and maintain web applications including reservation systems, task and support management systems, ecommerce websites and content management systems. Other important roles were server administration, database administration and security. Was responsible for providing security, reliability and dependability for servers, network, websites and databases.

• Created and managed many EC2 and RDS instances using Amazon Web Services
